Arborlawn Overpass Groundbreaking Ceremony

We are pleased to announce that a groundbreaking ceremony will be held on February 19, 2010 to highlight the first steps in constructing local access improvements for the future Southwest Parkway/SH 121 connection to I-20/SH 183 in Tarrant County.

The Southwest Parkway is an 8.7 mile, six-lane toll way that will extend through the Edwards Ranch, connecting Southwest Fort Worth to the Central Business District at I-30 and Forest Park. The goal of the project is to create a safe, attractive and efficient parkway that improves mobility for Fort Worth’s residents. The design of the Parkway will improve upon the community’s character, ensuring that the project meets the community’s needs, preserves the natural environment, and provides safe access for all modes of transportation.
